Day 478: “We do what we can do” is an excuse.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe in the idea that “I do what I can do, we do what we can do”, not seen/realizing this is an accepted and allowed limitation and excuse.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe in the idea that “we do what we can do, we fix what we can fix”, in that not seen/realizing the real reason why we don’t fix some other things is because we don’t want to fix.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe in the idea that “I am doing what I can do”, not seen/realizing it’s a form of justification, because clearly I have not asked the question “what else MUST be done, until all abuse is stopped”.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to accept excuses and limitations.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not see/realize these excuses are pre-programmed to keep me stuck in inaction. So that I will always say “hey man, I am doing what I can ok, what else can I do, I cannot solve world’s hunger, give me a break”. In this I forgive myself for not seen/realizing how Brainwashed I am.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to give the excuse “man, I cannot solve world hunger, ok, I am doing what I can do”.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not see/realize that “I am doing what I can do” is a form allowing the abuse elsewhere to continue, because obviously I “can-not” do anything about it so “let it continue”.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to neglect the real big picture because I believe that I cannot do anything about it, and justify it by saying that “hey I am doing what I can do, I am doing my little part”.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not see/realize “we do what we can do” is not enough, so “we must do all we can” to end all abuses everywhere. But I do see, realize and understand, “ending the abuse everywhere” is a process, perhaps a lengthy process, therefore I must have one foot in the global long-term solutions and another foot in local-immediate solutions, in that it may be so, I can only do what’s immediate to me here/now, but never at the cost of allowing and accepting the global abuses to continue. Giving a local homeless man a cup of coffee is cool, but do so within the understanding that this cup will not end world hunger, for which I must tirelessly work for, also that this cup of singular point of generosity will not become a justifiable excuse to allow the world hunger to continue. In this I see/realize and understand “I do what I can do” is a subtle form of excuse and limitation.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to accept abuses as part normal of life. “oh well, we do what we can, we cannot solve world hunger”, in this I see/realize how spiteful that excuse is.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to use the words “I cannot solve world hunger”, not seen/realizing in those words, I am hiding, avoiding self-responsibility and allowing the abuses continue.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not see/realize I am responsible for ALL, because life is equal in ALL, so LIFE is ONE. in this I see/realize and understand even if one child starving tonight is unacceptable, and it is my responsibility to stop it.

I commit myself to walk this daily writing of self-forgiveness, and reading of self-forgiveness, so that I will overcome my pre-programmed enslavement and brainwashing, as I see/realize I am extensively brainwashed over the years through various social teachers, so I commit myself to walk this journey to life.  And I commit myself to not react when others speak from their brainwashing, instead I direct myself to show them, support them with common sense sharing.

when and as I see myself giving excuses like “I am doing what I can do” I stop, I breathe, when and as I see myself giving excuses like “I cannot solve world hunger man”, I stop, I breathe, in this I see/realize how insanely stupid and limited these excuses are.
